Creating fun and lasting memories with your children and friends of all ages.
There’s something magical about a tea party—the delicate cups, delightful finger foods, wearing an enchanting fascinator, and the joy of gathering around a beautifully set table. The Tea Party Cookbook is your guide to creating unforgettable moments with your child, whether you’re hosting a delightful gathering for friends or simply enjoying a cozy afternoon together.
The Tea Party Cookbook was written to make connection easy — not overwhelming.
I didn’t write The Tea Party Cookbook because families need more recipes. I wrote it because life feels rushed — and children notice. Tea became a small ritual that helped us slow down, sit together, and talk. That’s what I want for other families too. This book is an invitation to pause, connect, and create moments your child will remember. Your friends and family will also appreciate your tea party efforts.

About the Author
Judy Lee is a marketing and event planner, food blogger, and author who believes that food isn’t just nourishment—it’s connection, celebration, and storytelling. Her passion for afternoon tea began in childhood during a small but unforgettable tea party arranged by her mother with the little girl across the street. With a pink tea set she didn’t yet know how to use, Judy remembers the delight she felt at being invited into something so graceful and grown-up. That simple moment sparked a lifelong infatuation with afternoon tea—its rituals, its sense of pause, and the way it brings people together.
As she grew older, Judy hoped to take her mother to a proper tea room, but her mother—ever practical—always dismissed the idea as “too expensive.” After her mother’s passing, Judy realized she had inherited both her mother’s practicality and her gift for turning simple gestures into lasting memories. Afternoon tea became a way to honour that legacy and to share the warmth of her childhood with others.
Whether she’s planning a fundraiser, facilitating a hands-on workshop, or hosting a beautifully curated tea party, Judy is passionate about helping people create meaningful experiences with ease and joy.
She is especially committed to introducing the enchantment of afternoon tea to children, inspiring connection across generations. Judy lives in the Greater Toronto Area with her family.
